Preparing a photo safely takes less than a minute
AI processing usually requires a person or an object, not the whole story around the frame. Documents on the desk, address on a parcel, correspondence screen and faces of random people rarely help the result, but reveal unnecessary context.
Check the background and edges before your face.
In the center of the frame, attention is occupied by the main object, so random information often stays around the edges. Enlarge the photo and go through it clockwise: signs outside the window, badge, car number, letter on the table, reflection in the mirror, screen second device.
Addresses, rooms, documents and recognizable interior.
Mirrors, windows, glasses and glossy surfaces.
Accidental passers-by, children and colleagues.
Trimmed screens, envelopes and passes and signatures.
You don't have to turn an ordinary selfie into a depersonalized document. The purpose of the inspection is to remove information that the edit you choose does not need.
Staffing is more reliable than complex smear
If there's an extra object at the edge, trim it. It also reduces unnecessary information and makes the main object larger. When you can't cut out, cover the area with opaque fillers before loading instead of relying on blurring: a blurry document is still a document in the frame.
Do not confuse the visible image and information inside the file.
A photo can contain service metadata: shooting time, device model and sometimes coordinates. The behavior of different applications when sending is different, so you should not consider a particular messenger as a universal cleaner. For a sensitive frame, create a separate exported copy and check its properties.
A stranger’s face does not become a prop just because it was caught in the frame.
For group photography, decide in advance who really needs to be handled. If the task is for one person, use a frame without strangers or crop it. Be especially careful with children's photos, documents and private situations.
When creating a public result, additionally check whether the new scene does not change the meaning of the original event. Neutral background replacement and fictional compromising situation are different in the consequences of surgery.

Repeat the inspection before publication
A new scene may also contain random numbers, signage or document-like elements. The source check protects the upload and the result check is the future publication. These are two different steps.
Upload as many photos as the task requires.
A brief inspection, a neat crop and a separate working copy do more good than troubling universal prohibitions. Privacy begins with minimizing unnecessary context.
