The interior looks convincing only when the product can be measured mentally.
A lamp, chair or vase without a familiar landmark easily becomes twice as big. Size is determined by the relationship: height of the countertop, width of a book, step of shelves, doorway and distance to the camera.
Write down the real size and one recognizable proportion.
For a desk lamp, the total height and width of the lampshade and the ratio of lamplace to the base are enough; for an armchair, seat height, width and depth are important. These values do not have to be included in the pump as a drawing, but they must participate in verification.
Link the item to an object of familiar size
Surface height and free space up to the wall.
Show the scale of the shelf and neighboring decor.
Specifies the size of pillows, coffee table and lamp.
Checks the overall size of the room.
The object should be on the same plane as the furniture.
The horizon and the lines of descent determine what part of the top surface you can see. If there's a camera at chest level in the stanza, and that lamp is shown almost on top, they are assembled from different scenes. Compare ellipses, verticals and base angle.
Support and shadow confirm size
The base should fit completely on the surface, not fall into it or hang over the edge. The contact shadow repeats the shape of the base, and a wider incident shadow explains the direction of light.
Request.Place a table lamp about 30 cm high on a bedside bench 45cm wide. Save the proportions of the lamp: lampshade twice as wide as the base. The camera is mid-bed level, vertically straight. The base stands entirely on the stand and gives a short contact shadow.
Check the scene as a planner, not just as an audience member.
Set two independent benchmarks of size
One word for "compact" isn't enough. Specify the actual height or width of a product, and add a familiar object in the same plane: a standard-height countertop, a doorway, an A5 book, or a human hand. Two landmarks help you spot an error, even if the perspective looks convincing.
After generation, draw mental lines to the point of descent and check the contact with the surface. The product should not hang, fall through or stand in a different perspective than the furniture around you. For the series, first approve one master frame, then change the décor, not the camera or scale.
Interior visualization does not replace drawing
It shows the nature of use and relative scale. For installation, compatibility and purchase of furniture, publish the actual dimensions separately and do not offer to measure the product from the generated frame.
Scale becomes believable through relationships
One product passport and two interior landmarks are more reliable than the abstract request to make an item of "realistic size."
